Throughout its decades long history, the Volunteer Centre has played a vital role in building community capacity by providing leadership opportunities, training, and placement for volunteers.

Volunteers have been an essential driver in the response to the pandemic and will continue to be essential for our recovery. We must work collectively and support the work of the Volunteer Centre and the engagement of volunteers.

The Volunteer Centre is providing a holistic approach to building our Centre of Excellence, demonstrating how our programs all intertwine, and focus on a person’s social and economic well-being.

We are committed to enhancing and improving low-income and at-risk community members’ lives through financial well-being, along with participation and contribution to society through volunteerism.

The Volunteer Centre of St. Lawrence-Rideau operates entirely on Memberships, Grants, Donations and Corporate Sponsorships.
